You know that moment when good music hits your ears, you just cant help but put a silly smile on your face your head tryna stay still but the song is soo good you cant help it, before your know it you legs start stomping to the beat and your brain trying to register the lyrics, YES that feeling.
Last week i received an email from a guy named "Mtho m" telling me his working on a song about booze and getting soaked, well my first thought was "aint that an old concept ?", "aint it like what the majority of the hiphop circle rapping about"? Well i entertained the idea only because my gutt told me so and boy was that gutt right. Fast forward a week later Mtho_m sent me the song before he released it hoping i wont get the edge to leak it.
I plugged in my head phones and that feeling hit me, the feeling of good music, the feeling of durban music, the feeling managed to take me back to the first day i learnt to ride a bike. I found myself emailing Mtho_m trying to get more details on the song and to my luck he gave me the rights to make it my december theme song and after hours and hundreds of emails, i managed to convince him to release the song on this page, and ladies and gentleman i give "SkhabaAmabhodlela". Its safe to say this is a club anthem and durban has a tendency of bringing out talent like that. With Gemini major on the beat Mtho_m, Insane and Swif on the vocals not forgetting Allan Duvera on the song cover art, all i can say is i ended up downing on bottles i never knew i had. I exclusively have the song and sharing with you guys is the best festive present i can give you. So Rebels i give you the link to the hottest song in Durban right now https://soundcloud.com/mtho-m/mtho-m-skhaba-amabhodlelaradio-cut
Lets all support durban music if not the Durban Sun
Well look my time is running out so for now #Bless and stay Rebellious
